Squeaking sound when pressing the brake pedal.
I recently drove came home to LA from SF. And my car recently squeaking most of the time (not all the time) when pressing down the brake pedal. I changed my front brakes for the trip. I didn't change my rear yet because they still were good. What cAn be causing this squeaking sound? I know the clicking is normal from inside. But the outside squeaks, when I'm pressing it to reverse. And coming to a slow stop. It's coming from the front.
sqeaking brake sound
Keep in mind. My car has 232k miles, I had it since 125k.

Did you change pads and/or rotors? How well did you clean the surfaces before installing? It could be dust that built up from the old pads/rotors over time which gets squeaky when hot.

I bought the Honda front brake kit so it was the brakes and pads. I mean these are the original rotors so would you suggest new ones? And it'll resolve the squeaking ? My car squeaks from just pressing the brake on Park. So idk how that would affect that.

^^^^^ This would be a good possibility ^^^^^^^^^^^
My car is doing this also. For me, the squeak is heard AFTER I let off the brake pedal and it's definitely from the front. I don't even have to be moving. So my guess is that either the caliper pins need lubrication or the caliper pistons are worn and causing noise. I doubt the rotors or pads are the culprit if you can hear it while the car is in Park.
You didn't mention... Do the brakes stop the car well? My brakes stop great, there's just that annoying little squeak after I let off the brake pedal each time.
