JDM transmission
Hello, I have a 2001 Honda Civic EX automatic. The car was manufactured in Canada. I recently had a JDM transmission installed and it is throwing CEL code 0740 transmission lock up control system fault. Apparently the Japanese built transmissions are not compatible with the Canadian built civic. I found this out after having had transmission installed. Does anyone know of a fix so the code won't be triggered?

Is the TCC solenoid connected correctly? Damaged TCC solenoid? Bad TCC solenoid?
Got freeze frame data?
Did new trans come with torque converter, or did you have to reuse yours? Input shaft O ring not damaged?
