I have a 2001 civic with BMXA tranny. Just rebuilt it. When I put it in the car has forward pressure in park, slight forward movement in reverse and it goes forward in neutral. Linkage is good. No codes. It has to be internal. Has anyone else experienced this? Would like an idea where to start. Thank you!

It does not go in reverse at all. Just forward.

Hello.. I just finished rebuilding a 2002 Honda Civic transmission and it shifts really good, unfortunately I have NO reverse and in neutral it goes foward.. Has anyone encountered this similar problem??

I experienced something similar when I bought my new shift solenoid - it was a cheap rebuilt one and the two wires were switched in the connector.

This thread describes exactly the situation I find myself in today. Did anyone successfully resolve this situation? There was a recommendation to check the fluid level. Did that work for anyone? Any other causes? Careful reassembly with no "extra parts" and a basket full of disappointment.
