My 05 Civic LX doesn't lit "D" after shifting and hesitates.
My 05 Civic LX doesn't lit "D" after shifting from N.
This problem is kind of come-and-go. It usually happens once or twice for each drive (30mins local). No lights or codes.
When D doesn't lit, it has poor acceleration. When I step on gas for 5-10 seconds, D lits up and has normal acceleration. Pushing the gear **** forward (softly) a bit also helped it stay in D too. Once it is in D, it's okay for the whole drive.
I found similar story here, but have not found a real solution. It's currently at 72K miles, never had transmission problem before.
