car thinks is in drive when in park
i dont know waht the problem is...
the past few days, after i drive around and then park the car.
if i take the keys out and then try to start it, it wont start, it show on the gauge cluster the symbol for drive blinking while the park symbol is still lit aswell. anyone know what this is cause from or how to fix ?
the work around ive had to do is lift the console, and hit the white button underneith (cars auto) put it in drive, again, then back to park reset the alarm and then its okay.. its becoming a real pain in the a$$...

Rep Power: 0 If you are getting a blinking "D" that means the ECU is throwing an error code. Your car's ECU has detected a fault in your engine, transmission, ...etc. You need to get a dealer to read it or someone may have already written about how to read error codes in this forum. Do a search for error code.

do you have pictures of how to resolve it. It’s happening to me and now I was able to get it to work. But when I turn the ignition on the d is lit as well as the parking

No, I did disconnect the battery and tight all connections where the shifter is. The battery was tested good. And the starter is new. Now it seems to work after checking the connections, but this is the second time in three months that I was stuck at a store because of it.
