What problems are you having? Loose alternator mounting bolts are very common and can fry ECUs.

Yes I had my alternator fry my ecm. Problem is that I have had 2 locksmiths and still no fix so I broke Down and bought the ecm with ignition cylinder with immobilizer and key a still won’t start.

Is the key symbol in the cluster flashing? Maybe the ECM, immobilizer, and keys don't match and need programmed.

No , the key actually was good with no flashing green light. I also have an Autel AP 200 tool that can program keys, reset ecm/pcm , replace immobilizer control unit.
I just can’t write the vin number

Re: Fried my ecm on my 03 ex v-tech

When you turn the key on does the key symbol come on for a few seconds and then go off? This would indicate the immobilizer is working properly.

Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key on?

Re: Fried my ecm on my 03 ex v-tech

If yes to both your issue is not the immobilizer. You will want to start checking mechanical issues. Check compression, spark, and fuel pressure at the engine. Check engine light on?

You will want to find it or rent one to test. You will also want to check engine timing. Check engine light on? Any faults?

Re: Fried my ecm on my 03 ex v-tech

No faults showing. I changed the timing belt myself and when I was rushing to put everything back together I didn’t tighten a ground on the alternator. Not to mention that I had to wait a week for a tool for holding back up on the crankshaft with the battery un hooked that long. Week I think.
went into limp mode with green key flashing but would still start but in limp mode.
