2005 Civic Engine light on, ODB2 Connector

Hi everyone. I am new here. My daughters have a 2005 Honda Civic EX. I purchased in January. It's been a ride but thru the help of this forum and you tube I had everything which was not working working.
Yesterday they told me the check engine light was one. How long I do not know. I looked up how to place a jumper on the under dash OBD2 connector and turn the key on to get the engine light code it was a 41. I don't know if it is the front O2 sensor of the rear.
Then I created another problem(s) I was in a hurry and placed the jumper between the wrong pins. I am sure I placed it between 4 and 16 instead of 4 & 9. Now none of the power locks work or the radio will not turn on. Yes, I heard it from my daughter the radio didn't work. I have checked the radio fuse, the Power Window fuse under the hood all are good.

I should add the master door unlock switch will unlock the doors. Key fobs will not lock or unlock the doors.

please dont create duplicate threads

check all of your fuses, and go buy a proper code reader to get the real code, you can get a bluetooth dongle on amazon for like $20 and the torque pro app is $5

Did it end up being fuse 9 in the under-hood box?

Definitely under the hood. The blown fuse is either 8 or 9. I’m getting a new one now. Actually misc pack of them.

number 9 it was

thanks for your help!

now to figure out the O2 sensor

Depending on the code you receive for the Primary or Secondary sensors, it will be part number 19 or 20 in this diagram: https://parts.sonshonda.com/showAsse...rimLevel=24777

Your 2005 has the more expensive sensors than the 01-03. Try Amazon or Ebay with the part numbers for better pricing. Stick with OEM Honda sensors for best results.
