I've been dealing with this issue for a while. When gassing up, the pump shuts off repeatedly before the tank is full. I replaced the charcoal canister and that did not resolve the issue. I'm thinking I should take apart the filler neck and clean out the vent tubes. However, after looking at diagrams, I see that there is a canister filter. I'm wondering... if that were clogged, would that cause the issue I'm having? The part is 17315-S5A-A32. Anyone have an issue with this getting clogged? Looks easy enough to replace.

It might, especially if the previous owner kept overfilling the tank
