Hey guys I recently purchased an 01 civic coupe and have a terrible belt squeal upon start then goes away also when I turn on the ac another squeal comes and then goes. I went to check the lower belts and seen that the belt is almost sitting on the frame (picture attached). Any idea if this could be the reason why? Motor mounts causing this issue? Would appreciate the help.
Hey guys I recently purchased a 01 civic coupe and upon start there is an annoying squeak for about 10 seconds coming from the belts and then goes away. The belts are not cracked or frayed. I also turn on my ac and another squeaking appears for another 10 seconds and then disappears but will come back every so often when driving for a couple of seconds. Any help?
The car came back with a clean title and I have had somebody inspect the engine bay saying it looks good. There are times when I am at a stop light the engine seems to bounce up and down almost as a motor mount issue but all of the motor mounts are in the car from what I can see besides the rear one as I have not checked that one out yet and I have not checked to see if any of the mounts are bad.

The mounts will still be in the car, but if they've collapsed, that would describe the shaking. They're probably original.
