Sudden loss of economy

Hey all,
new to the forum and wanted to say I'm excited to see what's all on here! I'm posting about my 05 civic DX manual that I've recently picked up. I have been chipping away at things it needs like belts/bushings and general maintenance things when I noticed I wasn't getting the same fuel economy as when I first got the vehicle. Before, I could throw $30 in it (half a tank on 93 octane) and easily got a week or more on that (about 250kms plus or minus). Now, with the same amount I had the gas light come on after just 140kms!!
The only thing I could think of was the EGR? I had taken it off to clean it, and replace the cam plug which was right when I noticed the difference. Could I have broken the EGR? Or is there something bigger at play?

Note: I have scanned it, and I have 3 codes...
1) multiple misfire2)misfire cyl 2/4
3)emission/exhaust leak (have a broken flange on the cat but soon to be replaced)

Re: Sudden loss of economy

solve the issues first, do regular maintenance items. (filters, fluids, etc)

Why are you putting 93 in it?
