Squealing noise pulling away

Hello, I bought a civic two weeks ago and the past few days I have noticed when I first start the car and pull away there is a squealing noise for a few seconds. It seems to only do it when the engine has been off a while, over two hours or so. It goes off after a few seconds and I don't hear it again. Any ideas what it could be? Should I take it back to the garage ask for cash back? It had a new alternator belt apparently before I bought it.

Re: Squealing noise pulling away

Belts need to be adjusted. It's probably the new alternator belt
