I have been trying to find a diagram that shows the location of bank 1, sensor 1 in a 2001 Civic EX. I have seen several videos/images that show an alternative engine where it is located right in the front of the engine bay (image attached). My engine does not look like the one shown, so I'm assuming it's for a different model Civic. Does the EX model not have a secondary O2 sensor, and the one shown at the bottom of the attached image is the primary one? Is that bank one, sensor one?

Re: 2001 Civic EX Bank 1, Sensor 1 location
It still has 2 o2 sensors, the primary sensor (sensor 1) is the sensor before the cat. The secondary sensor (sensor 2) will be either in the cat or after it
Bank 1 always means head 1. Bank 2 will mean head 2 on a V or boxster engine. Since you only have 1 head, you'll always see bank 1 codes.
Sensor 1 is the first sensor encounterd within the exhaust system for that head bank. Sensor 2 is the next sensor down (some engines have 3 or more sensors per head bank)
