Piston rings installation order
04 civic
bough the Honda piston rings. Beside the oil rings the other two rings one has 1A indentation and the other has R
which one goes on the very top ?

You have OEM rings?

The second ring is usually all black, the top ring is usually gray/silver. There should be some sort of mark on them, install that side up.

Yes. It’s the Honda Rings
the marks are R on one and 1A on the other. I figured it out
the second one from is thicker the top one and only can fit in one place
