2005 civic p2227 code

So recently I replaced the engine in my sons 2005 civic dx from a 2002 civic dx. I took off the intake and swapped it over so everything will still be compatible with the EGR. Finally got it running. The only issue we noticed after a short period of time was it has a high idle usually between 2200 when cold and down to 1500 when warm. Checked and found a p2227 code. It has to do something with the barometric pressure. Anybody have any ideas? Could it be a leaky intake or a bad MAP sensor?

Could be a leak in the intake somewhere I would check that first.

agreed.....

sounds like its sucking in air from somewhere it shouldn't be, that would cause a high idle

could be a leak between the head and the intake manifold

Your PCM may be incompatible with new donor engine.
