car jerks going faster than 45MPH

Hello everyone, This is my first post and before you all say anything I have already looked through this forum, researched before posting.

I drive a 2005 Honda civic ex with about 117k miles on it. Last week my car would not accelerate well and shake, jerk, hesitate in away if I drove faster than 45 mph. a check engine light came on a few days later and autozone said it was an misfire on cylinder 3. I pulled out the coil and it was burnt. After buying new set of coils, my engine runs a lot smoother than before. How ever after 3 days it starts jerking again at high speeds but not as strong as it once was...any suggestions? Thank you.

Re: car jerks going faster than 45MPH

Does it jerk and miss mostly while holding a steady speed (maybe anywhere from 35 to 55 ish), and act normal (stop the jerking) if you accelerate hard?

That's completely opposite of what I was thinking....

Have you pulled out the spark plugs to inspect them yet?

See if there is any evidence of carbon tracking on the insulator, shown below:
