I have a 2002 ex 5 speed (man)with 175,000 miles and i am only getting 25 mpg.
Here are the specifics of how i drive and what has been done to the car.
New tires and alignment
all new wheel bearings
new plugs
water pump and timing belt change at 140,000
I drive 35 miles one way to work at 60 mph.I guess im not expecting a lot more but i thought it would be better.Anything else i should do or change to try and make it better.

Yeah, you should at least be getting 33-36mpg. Try new O2 sensors, they wear out after about 60K miles and can greatly reduce mpg.
