Rep Power: 428 All you need to do is remove the 2 bolts holding the thermonstat housing on (the housing is attached to the lower radiator hose) and remove it with the hose still attached and then remove the thermostat. Make sure you put the new one in the correct way. there is piece on the thermostat thast faces up.

Rep Power: 428 you wont need to drain the radiator, but I am sure the coolant that is suspended in the block will come out. the thermostat housing sits in between the radiator and the hose leads up to the housing, so the fluid will stay in the radiator. just make sure when you remove the housing, that you keep it facing up to keep any fluid that is in the hose in there. if you point it down, of cource the fluid in the radiator will come out.
But when I did this, I had the coolant all drained out since I had just replaced the timing belt and water pump.
