Front interior defroster problem
Front interior defroster problem
I was sitting at a red light in the rain today in rainy Baltimore County and put on the interior defroster in the heater A/C controls It worked for a few minutes removing fog from the windshield but once I got out on the expressway it started to fog up again(dangerous when you're on the on ramp). I know I switched the airflow control to the defrost indicator and had the air circulation to interior only and the temp set at cold. Somehow the A/C must have shut off. I'm sure the A/C comes on when defrosting. Any suggestions. It's a 2005 Honda Civic LX Sedan.
Re: Front interior defroster problem
You don't want to be using the recirculation mode with defrost.
You will have to check if your A/C is working or if it's shutting off after a while. Compressor clutch slipping can cause that to happen.
