Low beasm not working
Low beasm not working
2003 Civic Hybrid, 326k miles.
Issue, both low beams failed at the same time.High beams work fine.
When you turn the rotary switch on the end of the turn signal stalk, side lights, the dash lights dim, as expected for night time driving, but side lights do not come on. When you move it to the next position, main lights, low, they do not come.
Things I have checked.
L/R headlight relay in the engine compartment test good, also work fine when using high beams, also have swapped.
Fuses - checked all I can find, no blown fuse found.
Brake lights and hazard lights work.
Turn signals work as expected
Bulbs are good
I also replaced the entire turn signal/light stalk, made no difference.
I can only think of 2 things left, at need guidance.
I think, but I'm not sure, that there maybe 1 or 2 relays near the passenger side glovebox that are for main beam cut/DRL - is this correct?
If not, where are the main beam cut relays located?
Also, any idea on how you remove the glovebox?
Only other thing I can think of is the entire fuse box/panel is defective.
