2019 Civic LX will not move into Drive

2019 Civic LX will not move into Drive
Hello,
I have a 2019 Civic LX A/T and my buddy accidentally tried to install the battery incorrectly and now I can't put it into drive. I have to constantly press on the button of the shift box to move it into Drive. I noticed that the Multi Block Fuse was burnt and replaced it but I still can't put it into drive and my wife is tired of pushing the button every time she uses the car. Can someone tell me how to fix this issue without having to take it to the Stealership (dealership)?
