really? even for aftermarket projectors, they only take H1 for high beam and H3 for low beam.

No, HOnda wouldn't have put H1's as stock bulbs. They're the worst bulbs out their practically. I doubt they'd go an' do that, but then agin I could be wrong.

Ok, so, I'm pretty Electronically savvy, or "with it" - I'm still a little curious about this relay setup though. You can buy a relay from Radio Shack, is that what you're saying?

oh tell me why H1 is the worst bulb out there? even worse than H3?

For the relay setup, the main idea for it is to not let the current drop for high watt bulbs, so if you usually use 55W bulbs (even ones that says they output 100W), you don't really need this setup.

Well, H1' are from my experience the easiest to burn out. I went to buy a pair of Eurolites, which are normally guaranteed, and the guy at the store wouldn't even guarantee them because they were H1's ..

He said the only ones that won't burn out are the stock ones.

what's up wonderz,
i see your point, but all i have to say is horsepower costs money and so do bright lights.
some people can't afford 19" wheels, body kits, turbo's, and just plain rent.
there are a lot more parts and engineering that go into hid lights compared to normal h4 bulbs.
some people are willing to spend money on certain things, while others don't see why it is necessary.
why spend an extra 400 dollars+ to go from 17" wheels to 18"?
i've used all different types of bulbs piaa's, catz zeta(poor man's hid)90watt 100watt, you get the point, but what bothered me was it was never as bright as that dang lexus or bmw next to you at the light.
so what if there car was more expensive or faster(usually both in my case) it's just cool to be able to say to yourself, "yeah, at least my headlights are brighter."
sorry, can't seem to fall asleep.
you can't build a nsx on a 7thgencivic budget!!!!!
take it easy and talk to you soon

haha, luvvegas777, its all cool. I am planning to get some HIDs later believe it or not...but I just can't decide if I should get them for my projectors H3s or should I change them to JDM Housing H4s. Anyone has some opinions about that would be apprecitated it. I am interested in your claim of staying between 4300k-5500k for HID and losing light output for higher temperature. Please do talk more about that. Peace

Yes, real 90/100. I ordered them from ebay, seller stated 80/100 but i received 90/100. The brand is FX from Korea (never heard of them before!) They are 5000k bulb, very bright! I must say that the headlight housing come hot but never had problem for 1 year.

i have PIAA's as well, H4 extreme whites, they're great, super reliable, i've had them for about 2 yrs now, just stay away from the cheap-o ones, they tend to explode in your housing
