smoked tails

heres how you do it, take tails out....clean very good.....aplly first coat, let dry, aply second coat....test them, aply more if neccissary.

edit, if you want this.... you must tape off areas where you don't want paint on and go to honda and get ur oem paint....and apply with a spray gun...or get an airblower thing at crap tire for 10 bux.....dump paint in and it sprays like a spray paint can.

Girlieracer,

What color are you gonna paint your taillights? I did this mod about a month and a half ago. You could get it done professionally as they did on the silver civic in the above images, or if you have a NBP civic, you could simply paint it yourself with nightshades spray tint.

I sprayed it with the night shades. I masked off the horseshoe and the space above it that lights up and it looks sweet. Blacked out everything else. Simply used some masking tape to do it, it took me about a day to do. Just wanted to ensure that everything was dry.

The nightshades was $14.99 a can, and it took only one can! Too bad you didn't let me know about 2 weeks ago, I just traded my extra can of nightshades for some blue gels for my dash lights.

The mod turned out well. I don't have pics of it, but found a pic of the same effect on another user's car here on the site, take a look.
