icbc check

Ok, I'm back from ICBC. It will be 100% my fault.
The estimated damage will be around $715.82 with most of it being labour.
Still don't know how much the repair on the other car will be.

Basically, the bumper has to taken off and fix + the headlight reassemble + a little work on the fender + repaint

I'm probably going to pay for my own repairs.

if you don't have replacement cost insurance, go demand new oem parts else u'll get cheap junk installed...

anyways, you are better off than my sister.
my sister had almost the same situation but my mom's acura tl had to go to junk yard and same for the other's car.
it was 100% my sister's fault.
and she got a $180 ticket.
and icbc says if my mom want to buy tl again, insurance will cost about $7000 per year..

$700 is cheap for repairs...

my car had $1400 damage on the rear....
-new bumper cover....
-hammer out my trunk a little...

another month later, the car was totalled...dang....was a really short life for that lil civic....

all i can say is GET REPLACEMENT COST INSURANCE! it sure saved my ***....

btw, what kind of ticket is $180? speed relative to conditions is $140....

at least you're still lucky..... the other party didn't claim for personal injury
coz if they do, you won't be able to have the option to pay the damages.....
sigh..... i touch this other guy's back fender after ISO and it's like only 2 less than dime sized dent in his bumper (it's like i released the clutch while the gear is engaged.... yeah i forget to put the gear back to N)
but he claimed for personal injury.... and somehow f**kin ICBC accepted that bogus claim.... next year my insurance will increase drastically(this and the normal increase)... bah....

that's weird...is there anyway u can argue that? unless the frame rails are bent, it's not so easy to claim whiplash.....

btw, anyone know how much it costs to replace a lamp standard? how about a traffic sign? ICBC will cover lamp standards, right?

i don't exactly remember which ticket it was...
the ticket must be between $118-180... i think i saw number 1 and 8 from that ticket
i think the ticket was for fail to yield or something like that...

ddongs: fail to yield on a left turn??

Anyway, my parents say we will pay for the repairs and not claim ICBC. If we claim ICBC, we'd have to pay 1800 more for next year, and then 1600 more the year after next.

As for Personal Injury, I think the person is supposed to "state" that he/she does not feel well right after the accident. Otherwise, I can just go to ICBC right now and say I'm sick and it will be 100% the other guy's fault.

Check into in Manixc, you probably still could claim an injury... Complain of being in pain and that you un-able to concentrate in school because of it...

I can't, the ICBC adjustor only tell me that somehow they accepted his claim.
He might have paid some doctor to produce a fake report for that.....

you wouldn't believe how easy it is to get some doctors to write a diagnosis...
i know peeps who've gotten a doctor to write all sorts of messed up disorders for them...(not to claim injury though)
