Hey i just joined and this site is Amazing! congrats to all that put it togeather (ie Derek)
i purchased my First Car, Civic SiG. From T&T honda in Calgary. on the 9th of Feb. And i havn't got any sleep since! im thinking about phoning (agian) and Asking for some extra Mods. What are good things to ask for while yelling and complaining ??

hmmm.....i dunno if they'll give you anything. usually they do if you whine in the bargaining process, but after the fact its pretty hard to get ANYTHING out of honda dealerships. If you dont have them, try and at least get floor mats.

Just be careful with T&T, they have ripped me off, my parents off, and a couple of friends of mine off.
they dont discount ANYTHING and charge top dollar plus some for everything, read the fine print, and they are slow as hell in delivery.

when I bought my 97 delsol from them it was promised in 10 days, well it took over a month, they threw in like floormats and an ashtray for my trouble, big whoop. not to mention they syncro blew out after 3 months, though they fixed it at no cost to me, though said i didnt know how to drive a standard, I have driven nothing but standards since i could drive and that was my 3rd car. Just a abunch of ignorant bastards who think nothing is their fault.

T and T are also notorious for changing CV boots saying they're cracked when they arent and other problems just to make some $$$ in the service department. They have nailed my mom on this one numerous times, last time they said it, i looked at em and no cracks, went to Calgary honda and they said no cracks too...

Oh ya, your brakes tend to wear out faster there too than anywhere else, IE i went in after my 18000km warrenty service, and they said my brakes were at 45% front 55% back, when i went to another dealership for my 24 month warrenty service all of a sudden my brakes were like 75% front 80% back WOW I regenerated brakes in 3 months!!!

I aint sayin dont deal with them, just be cautious, firm and polite and dont be afraid to walk out of the deal and go somewhere else, that usually gets their attention BIG TIME! and Good Luck!

Calgary Honda has given me the best of service and good deals on parts when I am home. My folks go there too with their accord now and are always happy. Also, their body shop is top dollar but best work I have ever seen.

t&t is really a bad dealer here in calgary, almost all their sales person are chinese. They just ripped money off from chinese ppl. Even though i am chinese, i won't do business with them even if i am chinese. I went to crowfoot village honda and their service is pretty good. At least i am a satisfy customer

I now live 1 hour away from my dealer. One fine saturday I scheduled an oil change, took my car in... and it was a busy day and they were short one set of hands in the service dept. So anyways... all in all I didn't get my oil change that day. The service dept. was sooo sorry I had driven the hour for nothing so they have been giving me free stuff every time I go... free oil changes, touch up paint, honda cd holder things, and offering all sorts of special treatment... ain't it grand? Granted they aren't giving me accessories or anything with a big price tag on it, but ahh well at least i have them kissin' my butt... so its all good [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
