guys im really worried about my car (civic si coupe 2017) please give me some light i love this car so much
yesterday i noticed my car key wasnt working, i thought it was the battery and i changed it but still the car wouldnt start beecause of the imobilizer or anti theft system(red dot blinking on the dash) and there was a messagee on the dash saying keyless remote not detected
i called a car locksmith pro and he got my car to start but the car wouldnt turn off, he said it was and electrical issue and he wasnt able to reprogram the key and gave me a contact for a car electric specialist and said after he fixes the electrical problem he would be able to reprogram the key, after that i drove home, took the negative cable off and killed the car on first gear...
now im back to default, car key doesnt work and its not being detected by my car to turn on the car and the imobilizer is preventing to turn the engine on... i tried reseting the imobilizer by holding the panic buttom and lock 2x and unlock 2x but it doesnt work...
what do u guys think is the problem and what should i try?
ive been doing my research and there was a guy that said if i disconnect both battery cables and connect them together i can reset the ecu, is it true? feels like im gonna short the circuit and fry my car Oo
why does this happend?? my car was soo good and working fine for so long... no problems at all....
what to do, guys? i cant spend too much money right now =/
