Cruise control not working.

Cruise control is not working. where it should be displaying my trip miles it is just a empty square with the letters CAM next to it. anytime I try to turn on the cruise control it says DTC in the empty square where my trip miles should be. also my button on the steering wheel that cycles through the settings does not work.... and suggestions please?!!

Re: Cruise control not working.

Your collision detection system is having a fault (the CAM light). DTC (diagnostic trouble code) would also be indicative of a fault.

Any recent collisions in that car that you know of?

Re: Cruise control not working.

Depending on how old your car is, you still have warranty.

If not, it sounds like you're still best to take it to a dealership.

Re: Cruise control not working.

If it says DTC I would think there's a fault code someone should be able to pull.
