2016 brake problem-
2016 brake problem-
I’ve got a 2016 civic.
currently has 100K miles
front brakes and rotors done at dealer at 89K
rear brakes and rotors done at dealer at 58K
the brakes are starting to pulse pretty significantly and getting worse. Assuming rotors are warped. It feels like front but they were just done 11K miles ago. This time I want to do the brakes myself as it seems pretty simple.
my question- what’s the best way to determine whether it’s the front or rears that are warped?
based on mileage one would assume it’s the rear but it acts like front to me while driving but it’s hard to tell. Thanks

If it has an ebrake handle, apply the ebrake with the button depressed (so it doesnt lock) and see if you feel the shaking

Damn modern cars. You can use a dial caliper and check run out on the discs, as long as your wheel bearings are good
