10th gen rattling and grinding noise from the engine when the gas pedal is pressed h
Hi guys !
Been facing an issue with my 2019 1.5T civic for the last few days. Everytime i press the accelerator hard, there seems to be a loud clanking / rattling noise that seems to come on for a few seconds and then dissappears. The sound doesn't happen during normal acceleration but only when i tend to floor the gas pedal.
Any ideas what might be causing this? Would appreciate any expert advice from you all.

Post a video if you can. I can think of a few things that could cause it, but they're unlikely to be the culprit due to age.
