Anyone have any info on fighting a redlight camera ticket. I got one again yesterday. What a scam. I'm positive they have shortened the yellows where the cameras are. I was following the speed of traffic (speeding) and it was either slam on the brakes and come to a grinding halt or run the light.

ouch man, that sucks!

they probably have shortened the light. If you call the city, you should be able to request the statistics of that intersection. Give it a try, it won't hurt.

And, if the ticket is worth the money (or points), make friends with some traffic lawyers. They are expensive, but if it's a matter of your license, then it's worth it.

here in Toronto.. at least about a month ago or so, red light camera tickets were thrown out.. 'cause of something on the picture.. couldnt tell where the exact location is or something.

dont remember the exact reason, but a few were thrown out..so you have a chance.

check www.pulse24.com website... search for the traffic ticket incident.. not sure if its on there still.. but worth the try.

running red light.. pretty sure there's points taken off.... isnt there?

ask the prosecutor for a lower fine? that you have school...? and if you have a clean record... blah blah blah.. you know, the works.

or you can pay 200 for a ticket fighter to take it off.. but thats still not 100%
