kerri: dont lease. look into future value financing if you need to. its a really nice deal to get that low monthly payment. goto the honda website and use the calculator there to throw some numbers in to find how much you need down for a 400 a month payment.

have you thought about another civic? cause its 3.8% financing until aug 1st. and that is a sweet deal. and definetly go with manual. you wont regret it.

I thought i saw you earlier in the week on lake st. Blue car, lowered, white rims, but it had altezza tails?? if it wasnt you have you seen this 7th gen?

Hey all

I just checked out a family friends IS300 and it's pretty awesome. They go like hell and handle real nice.

But this whole civic thing has definately corrupted me because as i looked at it all i could think about was lowering it. But they sure are nice.

Anyway i was recently considering getting a neuspeed upper strut bar. I think i can get one from tornactive for about 170 all said and done. I am gunna check AW to see if they can match. But if they cant does anyone else want one and we can split the shipping?

Just throwing it out there. still not sure if im gunna get one for sure. Just been hearing good things about em

Peace

yeah, test drove a 2001 is300 on sat, wow what an amazing ride. next up, wrx. i'm sure that the is300 will be better than the wrx, but i dont think it could top the STi, but i'll never get to test one of those.

i went to honda.ca and i figured it out and when i went to the dealer it wasnt accurate. i think i should print it and show them. If i get another civic im gonna wait till the 05's come out. i want to see what they will look like.

hey rick what trim level did you test.

I was in a base sport edition. It felt so nice and tight on corners.
It think you will be right about the WRX Sti. Doenst it put out over 300hp. Thats unreal.

IF you do get a car like that would you do anything to it?

Edit: Id love to to this

Peace

jer- i have to modify every car so yes, i allready have some stuff picked out for the is300 and the STi. the car i tested was topp of the line, the guy said it was fully loaded with every opotion.

ker-you cant use that calculator on the honda website because they dont include taxes ,destination, and other $$$ in the cost of the car. when i did mine on that calc. i was supposed to be paying like $295, once i was done it was like $360, that calc is just a ploy to get you to go to a dealer.

i ran across that *** on lake last nite, he was trying to run my ***, so i slowed right down, this was on carlton by GM, i turned onto ontario and so did he, he tried to race me at first and i laughed. we got to the lights at the brick and i smote his a_s, made him look stuppider than a fat guy in a thong. dumbass

and i wonder, still i wonder! i just dont know

i forgot to tell you all that i test drove the wrx, the is300 is a little better, but its aslo 10g's more. but i got some good news yesterday. my best friend was taken off contract at toyota and put on full time, guess what that means, yup he gets mad discounts on all new and used toyota's, and we all know that toyota is lexus' parent company...cough, cough... can you say used 2001 is300 fully loaded for like 25g's, damn i cant wait till my car is paid for cuz i'm goin right down to the boys at lexus for a little hook up. i'm thinkin black this time, or maybe the gunmetal color they have. nothin like rollin on stock 17's for winter, cuz i'll have 19's for the summer, and i'll have to throw in some tein coilovers too, for now, or i mean then, or i mean in the future, arghhh i'm all flustered justthinking about it.

meh, 97 hatch, blck, bronze volk rims, and a b18c swap.

o.k., heres the deal, if you were to receive $100, 000 tomorrow and had to spend it all on 1 car, what kind of car would it be and what would you do to it.

mine would go as follows:
is300, loaded (graphite)- $47,000
2JZ engine swap- $20,000 (est)
complete twin turbo set up- $13,000
rays eng/volk racing rims (bronze) + rubber-$8,000
custom exhaust- $2,000
one hell of an ice set up- $10,000

Good Question

hmmm 100,000

well my first coice would be to buy 5 civics...

but since you said one car i'd seriously look into the lexus SC430 convertible. And I would hope to hell there's room left in the budget for some rims b/c the stock on that car are God Awfull IMO.

The strut bar is on its way from tornactive.com. When I get it on I'll let you know how it feels. I hope it's easy to install.
