get this!! I put my car up for sale just to see if i could sell it. My old neighbour wants to trade me for his 98 saturn with only 36000km on it. He told me he loves my car. i cant sell it to an old man. He told me he doesnt drive much so it doesnt matter that i have alot of Km's on it. He loves my car because of my wheels. I dont think he realizes that the car is lowered and the ride quality sucks especially since my shocks and struts are gone. I dont know what to do. He told me we;d work out a price. I dont want a saturn. He said he could sell his car privately and than he would give me 17000 for my car... An old man can't have my car. i think i am going to tell him that i was going to buy another car and the car i was going oto buy was sold so i need to hold onto my car and ill take the signs off the windows.

YAY!! work is soooooooooooooooo boring, im in welland today.....Nothing to do except surf the net!!!

I was at Brock. We had just finished exams.

Anyway....
I wouldn't want to sell a car to my neighbour even if he/she was young. You'd always have to see your old car.

It would always be looking back at you and your new car saying "what was wrong with me?" That's too sad.

Ok well I'll go now...I've clearly lost my mind.

Peace

hey jer.. nice meeting you to!! sorry i was kinda in a hurry then because of personal reasons it feels so good just not having to deal with classes for a couple of weeks..

rick congrats on the wedding!! STi is a very good choice man! i've onli seen one dude driving it in st catharines.. in white and i think he live sumwhere along niagara street after QEW, saw it parked there a couple of times.

i saw the best car in niagara region so far about two weeks ago i was driving down thorold stone road heading to the falls and this old man was driving a red, convertible Ferrari 360 modena!! cant believe my eyes.. he must live somwhere in that area cause that weekend the same ferrari was parked in front of tim hortons at thorold stone and drummond..

anyway, u guys have a safe summer!!

Yeah no school is definatly a good feeling.

Anyway, here's my 2 cents on the STi. I wouldnt want it. It may be a really nice car but you'd never get to use the power. My money is on the Lexus IS300 L tuned. Thats what I'd spend 50G on. A car designed for daily driving not rallying across the desert or in a forest ...beacuse to be honest, I rarely find myself in a desert or a forest.

50G on a lexus? or 50 G on a subaru? HMMM not a tough choice IMO

That should get Rick goin' a little.

Peace

ker- i told her who you were, she was like, meh!

jer-is300 is definately a good car, and is one of the 3 i will be getting next time, the sti and evo8 are the others. however i do not beleive you can get the s-tune in can, only in us.

nic-the car is owned by a mid 30's dr. he is a neurosurgeon, and is cool as ****, he took me for a spin in it about a year ago. he's good friends with the two gus & amile)they own lina's and fresco's. i was admiring it with gus one day and he asked if i wanted to go for a ride. he had it up to 260 on the 406 btwn welland and the qew. and that is not an STi you saw, how do i know, they only come in silver and blue, no whit.

HAve fun on your test drive.

I'll be in my civic for at least another 4 years. But I'm fine with that.

And that reminds me. My civic is 1 year old on Saturday. I guess thats about 11 in car years. That means it's gunna be a teen soon. Uh oh. I hope it doesn't rebel against me.

God damn..I've lost my mind again.

Peace

LEASING, i know the guy and we are gonna work a deal. i might have to put some cash down.....i just hop ei dont have to put like 3000 gs down to get a 400 a month payment. i looked at an Envoy and with 3000 down plus freight as a down payment on a 45 month lease the payment is 475 a month. the car new is 45,000 so i think i can do a payment of 400 on a $30,000 vehice

nice choice, although for 30g's you could get and rsx, or hold out for the dodge SRt-4, same price. are you getting a 4 or 6 cyl, cause the 4 will be way cheaper on ins. make sure they throw in the tint for free as well as floor mats. sux that you cant re-use your rims though. actually i think the 4cyl may have the same bolt pattern, i know for sure though that the 6cyl is a 5 lug. are you keepin all the stuff on you car or are you parting it out. if you are getting rid of the springs i may take them off your hands, for a good deal.

im getting rid of the springs for sure. i think i might sell with the wheels cuz the one is damaged and if i sold them seperately people may not want them. for sure i want tint but he;ll probly make me pay for it. i want to get into it as cheap as possible and than worry about tint and stuff later. My deck will be for sale..........and i still have a half set of coilovers........hmmmmmmm!!!

WEll i was cruising down thorold stone road and I saw the sicest cavalier ive ever seen. It was silver probably between 2000 and 2002 year. IT was silver with body kit, rims, exhaust.

We kinda cruised together along together for a while. When i saw he was turning i gave him a wave and he wave back.

Does anyone know who this guy is? I'd love to check out his car some more.

OH yeah my calculations say about 3.5 to 4 G down for $400 payment per month. (400 includes tax)

Let me know if my math is close

Peace

your math is dead on.....thats what he said. with taxes and freight im looking at almost 5000 gs down to get a 400 payment....so now its some hard core saving or try and make some money off my car. i think it is also some kissing @ss to gramps......

ker-i thought that you said you coil's were seased or stripped. if they are not i may snag them off you for a good price.

jer-i've seen that car, it is nice. i've been seeing a lot of j-body's around lately, they are becoming more and more popular.

well i called the lexus and sooby dealers yesterday. made an appointment on sat to take out an is300 and next teusday to take out a wrx. one of these days i'll have to buy one, yah one of these days in like 2 1/2 years. i've also decided that i want to buy a 98 hatch, paint it black, get some 17 volk gram light rims (in bronze), put on a mugen front lip, some tein coil's with the efdc controller, and do a b18 swap. one day i will own that car.

who ever lease's the car has to be insured on the car, how ever you can add additional people to be insured on the car. so in other words your grandpa needs to be insured on the vehicle.

that sucks. its probably because if he insures another vehicle he would then have to get a fleet policy anf then that would just be complicated.
