You all got kicked out of Europe and migrated with the Native Indians. Then of course, slaves were brought in from Africa, then thereafter slaves were brough in from China.
After awhile, all the rejects from every nation in the world decided to come here. That's why there's more serial killers and pyscho killing sprees than anywhere in the world.
Admit it. Americans and Candians have the lowest national pride in the world. You think I'm wrong?
Put it this way. You bring an Italian guy from Italy, and if he has kids here, the kid will say that he is an Italian, not Canadian or American. Same concept applies to a G7 nation like England, to a 3rd world country like Somalia.
However... if you are an American, and have kids in Canada, the kid will say that he is CANADIAN. And vice versa. That's the truth, and you know it.

Rep Power: 0 I was born in Canada but am half Russian. If someone asks me where I'm from there obviously asking my background. disagree. I'm damn proud to be a Canadian. I don't think we have the lowest pride it's more becasue we're a melting pot as opposed to say Italy which has primarily people who's heritage is Italian. You don't see a bunch of people from canada going to live in Italy.

But I remember when I was back in grade 9 history class, 90% of people did not know who the first prime minister of canada was. They had no idea about Canada's history, etc etc.. while I was a fob, and I knew most of all the major history facts, AND knew my own country's history (Korean).
Those kids didn't know, because their parents didn't teach them. Their parents didn't teach them, because they have poor nationalism.
The only reason why people from other countries come here is because Canada's best place to live in the world. Better health care, less corruption, more middle class, cleaner air, better food and so on. But when foriengers come here, they still have their OLD VALUES.
You want to know what I exactly mean by what I said? About Americans being the same as Canadians?? Canadians call American cars DOMESTIC. That is wrong as hell. If Americans are really that different from Canadians, then like German and Japanese cars, they should be called IMPORTS.

01Coupe- I definitely agree with you in a lot of areas. Part of the problem is the education system has almost adopted a world history type of attitude. With so many nationalities and religions they don't want to **** off anyone. I didn't learn who our first prime minister is because I couldn't give a rats azz. But that's not to say I wouldn't fight for my country in a heartbeat.
They should be called imports but if you look around at or industries the good majority is american anyways. Mcdonalds would be imported, Home Depot and Walmart would be like crossing a border. Not to mention a lot of the assembly plants are in Canada.
