Question Lower Grill Mesh?

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what and where to get meshing for the lower grill on my car.

I would like to get something like what the Xenon kits have. Nothing too thin and flimsy.

Would I be able to buy stuff like that at Home Depot? What is it called and how much does it cost?

Any advice would help.

Thanks in advance.

i tried looking for meshes/fencing at home depot/rona/building box b4, like around november.... no luck. they were either too small... or the fences were just butt ugly... as in, didnt find any fencing styles in my liking
there might be different or new fences now.. since its spring time

lower grille craft has 'em... specially made for our cars.. they're like 2bills brand new.
you can look 'em up in the parts section.

i bought mine off of andoy... but its still on his car O_O haha.. but ya, if you're not in a rush.. i might not want it any more.. 'cause im thinking of going with a front bumper.. but still not sure whta kind.
so if ya want... i'll just sell you it when i get it from andoy =)

if not, i dont mind having it on my winter bumper.

If you wanna DIY (like I did), you can go to Canadian Tire and buy some of the mesh they have there in the aftermarket automotive section...it's kinda pricy but better than gutter guard...

You can see how i fastened it too...

BTW a big-*** sheet cost me $50 (I found it in the aftermarket section of a Honda dealership, purely by accident).

Thanks guys thats some good info. I appreciate you replying to the thread.

AznSaint: The piece that I need has to fit on the stock bumper but I am going to have an Aero front lip so I dont think it will fit the same way.

Telly: I would love to see how it turned out on your car. Did you follow the DIY on this site or did you just wing it. Was it hard or fairly easy to do? It looks real nice by the way! I will have to check out my dealership to see if they have any there too.

yes.. that grille is specially made for our cars.. just drill two holes onto the stock bumper and presto... you got yourself a lower grill.
=)

do you want the tsunami front lip as well>?
i originally only wanted the front grille at first... but andoy said he wanted to sell both at the same time... so i took both. haha.

any lip you'll get... it will not get in the way of the lower grille.
at the most, it'll be touching one another.

I actually kind of want to get a black mesh and I dont really want to paint one.

I will have to do a little searching this week to see what I can find.

The tsunami lip would look sharp on your car but you shouldnt have a hard time selling it if you decide to let it go.

I just ordered the Aero kit and it should be coming in this week....cant wait.

I was just thinking it would probably look cooler if I had a nice black mesh in that hole under the grill... It would tie in nice with the altezza grill.

Thanks! I actually just winged it. My bumper was off when I was gunmetalling my headlights, so I just went ahead and did it. I just cut off the slats using a power saw dealie I borrowed from a friend (I couldn't afford a dremel yet). Then I drilled some tiny holes in the black part of the bumper cover. I used these holes for zip ties to fasten the grille, which I had cut to fit - the sheet I found, I got from Mississauga Honda's parts department on a whim. I was in Craptastic Tire yesterday and found some there too. Oh, and if you really feel like getting ripped off, I saw one in Cockpit. But you really shouldn't buy any from Cockpit. You should hurl a molotov cocktail at them instead. Cockpit can lick my hairy gumdrops.
