is actsc 231 hard? I am planning to that...the reason is I am going for the B.C.S. business option and this was one of the requirement......

I got ot take 6 business course 2 business CS course or something and 2 communication course.....

but my friend said actsc 231 is hard.....oh well...

actsci 221 is like grade 11 math... heehee.... actsci 231 requires some thinking....... or atleast that's what i've heard from ppl taking them.... heehee.....

4000 left for food or mods..... hmm........ if you put it that way, guess i'll be living off instant noodles to boost up my mod budget a bit... heehee........

any of you ever got a "programming" job during your co-op terms?

I had been trying to get one but the best I could do is like Web developer, application developer and stuff, I can never get into programming.....>_<

i program web applications...does that count?

like learning management systems (ie. those web courses we have)
and little apps here and there of file/api/software inventory management

does that count? hahaha...
programming is programming...
if you call programming in C or mainframe programming, then no...
altho if i ask, i could land myself one of them mainframe jobs...
but that's no fun!

Yeah web applications, I guess I was in web application last term too, mine was a system wirtten in PHP and perl..and the backend is using SQL server 7.....but mine is not a big application, a small size application for internal use..nothing special.

yeah that's programming but I guess I want to get into like maybe java programming and stuff. I had been trying to get a programming job but I think it's because I don't have any testing experience and my job experience are too web type of jobs, they don't want me >_<

Hey guys.. been missing out on the action because of finals. Sitting in DC library right now. I'm guessing most of you don't study here much?

Anyhow.. speaking of tuition increases.. I was paying something near $2600 for my first term.. I don't even want to see my bill for my next term. I think my tuition nearly doubled by the time I'm graduating.

DP is quieter and less smelly...

i study at DC during the school year when i am reliant on the wireless network...

yuck...MC has never been so smelly until now...
i went upstairs to the 4th floor, and there was already this peculiar smell in the stairway...
i opened the door and walked towards the middle row of classrooms and it reeked even more... Of course, it was decipherable that it was a bathroom smell (pee) and i wanted to walk further to get away from it...but when i got to ouside MC4059, i saw this puddle on the floor and then quickly diverted to another floor...

math guys are weird!

if i had to pick only one mod, tinting would be it...... keeps the car cooler and give you a bit more privacy... heehee...

our midterm was out of 100....ppl did so bad on it that they made it out of 80..and YET the average was JUST 60 %....so if thye didn't bell curved it I guess it would have been 40 % LOL...

yeah, it was the same when i took 240..... the midterm was terrible so they belled it, but i think our class average was still under 60.... it was a killer midterm by shallit.... heehee.... who's your prof?

yupyup, read the article online.... apparently the actual newspaper article was a bit longer....... but overall it was a nice writeup....
