*sigh*.... i'm taking actsci 231 through dist ed and it's 720..... they raised the price by over 150 bucks this term... *sigh*..... arts pay like 450 for dist ed this term..... i so don't understand why certain programs are uncapped and not all programs.......

ethics and life sciences.... hmm, that does sound interesting..... but too bad it would be one heck of a commute every monday night... heehee....

6th floor labs were cool when i found them, but i get lost up there everytime so i stick with the 2nd floor... .... heehee...... i've been able to call the 2nd floor labs my new home for the past week... heehee

it's insane! they jack up prices EVERY TERM!!

now i wish i went to UT and did like life sciences or something...
i would barely have to pay for tuition...

only fees would be commuting...

6 floor lab is awesome...the "correct" keyboard and faster thin clients...
and less smelly...
however, less ppl go there, so not as interesting...

last time i was at the 6th floor lab, there were hardcore OS groups there.... you could feel the brain power being emitted... heehee......

the 2nd floor labs that i'm at (beside the mac labs) have the "proper" keyboards too... heehee... the ones at 2038 are so annoying......

i really need to pick up a wireless card or just get a new laptop, then all my frustrations with unix would be over... heehee...

get a wireless card... they cheap nowadays..can get one around $20

there's two guys in our cs classes that have 'em...i'm so jealous...
the new Sony TR1 costs well over $3000...super nice but way out of my league...

yeah 720 is crazy...I don't get why ppl in other programs get to pay less than us..and di you guys know that we have ot print off the course material online now? thye are not going to mail us those course material package things anymore..we got to print them ourselves..

yup it's $720 in class too...but i don't have to buy course notes in the bookstore...

good thing i can use it to claim my taxes

so sad...it was only $626 in the 8 months ago...

oh and when i first started sku (sep 2000) it was about $2800 including all fees...
now we're well over $4000...
let's see...$720 x 5 + $425 co-op fee + $200 miscellaneous junk
= a grand total of...


$4225 for 4 months...

if only our salaries inflated at the same rate

And did you ever notice we have to pay like 1000 something more than most other programs in the math faculty?...for example..Acturial Science?...they get pay more than we do and have less tuition..what the heck is that?....

you can still sign up for DE..... i'm actually thinking about signing up for another course.... but this tuition rate will kill me if i take two courses.....

which actsci you planning to take?.... 221 has like 500 spots, whereas 231 has only 60...... but if you're not planning to take anything after 221, then i suggest 221 since it's so much easier......

yup, i remember paying that first bill for tuition. was less than 3000..... now..... it's well over 4000.... *sigh*...... i should have just accepted the offer for arts accounting...

with tuition and residence, i'm paying roughly 16000 for 8 months..... and with the way things are going, it doesn't look like it'll be cheaper..... *sigh*.... my salary doesn't come anywhere near this....... i might need to work two jobs on a work term... heehee....

well, u do get roughly a little over $20000 to spread over a 16 month period...

that leaves you with exactly $4000 worth of mods...
or food...whatever you willing to sacrifice...hahahah
