OT: Whoa, impressive engine in the CR-V (K24A2)!

Damn!
I never had the opportunity to redline it, always gave up after 4500RPM... but this video should prove that the 2.4L i-VTEC Engine is impressive
Download Here
In the video it was suppose to demonstrate does the iVTEC has the same VTEC roar, indeed it does, it also presents that in 1st gear, redlined, it does 65KM, thats pretty good. Its Automatic BTW, how do I know its first gear? Over-drive is off so the first three gears are used and the video showed it shift twice.
Will I get in trouble with the cops? Is this considered wreckless driving or racing, even though going under the speed limit IE on Hwy 7.
:devil:

Civic = 2507lbs
CR-V = 3347lbs
It'll be a pretty close call, its auto though.
VTEC stands for Variable Valve Timing Electronic Control I think.
Heres an article of how variable valve timing is used through many manufacturers.

LoL I'll secretly do that when I get my G2, I only have my G1 for like almost 2 months, 6 more to go
I will redline this before the next oil change, blast all the carbon out! Clean, spick and span internals... (bore, sleeves, etc.)
The K24A2 wouldn't fit without some intensive modifications to the front chasis. It would be nice because the first generation CR-V (B20) were kickass torquey engines, I've heard kill stories at work of civics smoking m3s, c5, etc...
Besides the CR-V has best milage of its competitor, its 3L more /100km compared to the coupe.

AzimuthX, or whatever your name is...
it's because of ppl like yourself why young guys have to take so much crap from insurance companies. i know it's hard to hold off on driving, esp in summer, but damn, be patient and wait your turn. no wonder all insurance companies think that under 25 male = accident waiting to happen...

I never said that was me in the video, I plan to do it before an oil change which is beneficial for the car because it will take off a lot of gunk by redlining, but in this case a WOT.
the video didn't seem that impressive ... looked like you were moving kinda slow ... i was expecting a loud scream as the car raced to the redline ... didn't seem like you were flooring it.
