Springs

im looking for springs that will give me an even 1.5" drop ... any suggestions? i've been looking at the following

HR Sport Spring 1.3"
SPORTLINE KIT 1.4"

Anyone have experience with any of these two ... what was the drop after the sagging? How's the ride ... and what's the price on these?

I have the H&R sports... got it installed 2 weeks ago. Great ride... good looking drop with 17's... no problems. Just waiting for it to to settle before I get my alignment. Can clear speedbumps without scraping. A lot of ppl on the board have H&R's and there's no complaints... unless they really want their car low... it's not that low at all. It just gets rid of the nasty gap with have... especially in the rear.

The part# you need is 51866. For the 2001+ Coupe.

Install wasn't hard... as long as you have the right air tools it's so much easier... my mechanic and I did it in no time...

As for where I got it from... I got it from a friend who deals with aftermarket stuff... kinda like how Gusto operates. The best prices I heard for those springs is 328 tax in...

well ... I dont really know much about the performance of the springs ... but the 1.3" drop which i assume will sag to 1.5" was the perfect height for me.

DragonAce ... what's the drop on sportlines ... after all was said and done. I'd like to get TEIN SS too, but they are just so expensive.

1.4 front and 1.7 rear..
the rear has sagged more than the fronts tho, i'd say i'm getting +/- 2"
way too much with the tires i'm running that's for sure..

thing i hate about them most is their "support"..
i asked them about them a year ago (5 of the 8 coils are in constant contact..right from day one..doesn't seem right..) and have yet to get an answer as to what be what..

before you make the move tho, stop and think about it..
springs +/- 400 installed..
struts and shocks +/- 500 installed (plus the destruction of your originals for Koni's..)

or spend double and never regret it..
wish i hadda thought about it harder and the stuff had have been available at the time

so far so good on mine..
my fronts never blew, but they did get replaced for the "ticking" problem they're famous for (just a month ago..and that wasn't what was making the noise )

hope ya make out alright!!
