does ur insurance go up or is affected everytime you get a ticket?
How would i know, and check, other then finding out through my monthly payments?

call your insurance company and ask them for your record, but be careful because that my make them realize that you in fact have a ticket that you're not being charged for. My buddy got a reckless driving ticket (6 points) and $900, and his insurance didn't go up at all. Then about 2 months ago they applied the ticket and told him that he was lucky they didn't notice it earlier. Your ticket takes 2 yrs to come off your record (I think) and he only saw an insurance increase for the last 4 months, because they didn't notice.
depending on the insurance company, if u get a ticket and it is 3 points or more then it might affect the premium.
however if u go to the court and fight the ticket and get all 3 points reduced and paid the fine at the court, the ticket wont disappear from teh record. the insurance company will still know u got a ticket but u fought it and no point were taken from your licence so they reserved the right to raise your insurance in the future. then if u get caught for racing or dangerous driving then it will definitely increase the rate next year.
my mom she got a speeding ticket before and it was 3 point and i think 28 over the limit but we fought it in court and no points and it was reduced to $50 fine so she paid up and the insurance didnt go up. my dad then called the agent for the insurance and teh guy said it will stay in her record for 2 to 3 years and it will get deleted. so it should be deleted from her record now since it was like 3 years ago.

any ticket that is either something to do with your driving or your speed will effect your insurance --- and it takes 3 years for somehting to come off your record, not 2 ..... and you can find out what your record is by ordering an mvr from the ministry ---
