In class, than some classmates a few tables accross pulls out some pictures from an autoshow... than one picture has the car's engine bay, the guy ask his friend whats thiss (hes pointing at the cold air intake), the guy said it makes the engine sounds good, I just literally laughed after he said.. damn forgot what he said... something exhaust.... They claim to know a lot about cars especially imports yet they don't know the what parts are what... if you don't know it, don't make **** up.

Oops I left out, he meant the "vrooom sound" , I think he was referring to the exhaust sound. Some may argue that an intake system may not sound better... but to me I like the sound of air being sucked into the manifold. What's being heard is air sucked intot he intake manifold, you don't usually hear it on stock because the OEM intake system is very restrictive to keep the car quiet. Not everyone likes it.

If you have a bypass valve, don't be so confident about it. I've heard stories of where they hydrolocked going through a small shallow rain puddle. SRI are definately a lot easier to avoid hydrolocking but than it doesnt make enough compared to cai.
