WTB: Coupe Rear Bumper
Anyone have a Satin Silver rear bumper for a Coupe laying around that they wanna get rid of? Shoot me a price.
lol... that makes two of us... Unfortunately I've been looking since last july but to no avail.
I found some aftermarket OE-replicas. They are about $50 cheaper than OE. But all the body shop ppl I talked to say they fit like Rosie O'Donell in a Miata. (i.e. not very well).
The cheapest way I found to get this thing done is, $400 (taxes in) OE bumper from Orageville Honda, and $200 paint from Mono Auto Body. If you are interested, we can go together, and I can see if I can sqeeze a better deal out of these guys.

Well that's the thing... if I can't find a used bumper at a decent price then I might as well get an aftermarket rear bumper. There's no way i'm gonna pay over $400 for an OEM rear when I can get an aftermarket one for about the same price.
DaRickSta: what happened? u backed into a pole or something hit and run you?
i had the same **** on my car but it was on the driver side and it was hit and run by some m o t h e r *********** who can't park properly
i am still pissed that i had to shell out $650 to fix the whole bumper

R1: there's not too many aftermarket full replacement bumper out there
and even there is they wont be $400 for the bumper alone
maybe replica fibre glass made in taiwan quality will be 400-450 cuz i went to autobas and talked to Armando (one of the male staff) and he told me couldnt get anything for 400 (bumper wise)
but good luck anyway

iamfob: It happened last july. I was parked in the Windsor Casino parking lot. I was backing out of my space when some old dude in a HUGE buick ran into me. We couldn't really see each other because there was a big Expidition parked to the right of me. The cops said it was technically my fault because I was backing out. But since it was on private property he couldn't do anything. What can I say? Life's a bitch, then you marry one.
It doesn't look that bad now. I took the bumper off and stepped on it a few time to get it to back to its (almost original) form. But there is still that 4" crack down the side of it.

Well let's just say my rear bumper isn't as bad as yours DaRickSta but it was dented in and when I pushed it back out, it creased. There are also a bunch of huge scratches and a huge gash in it. I would rather try to replace it then repaint it.
As for paying 400-450 for an aftermarket rear, I can't see how they would be more then that. I paid $455 for my Xenon front. And that bad boy is polyurethane. A fibreglass rear would probably be cheaper.
B... let me know what Mike says. Thanks

I have a silver bumper for sale....
Its, well obviously silver, and has a tiny scruff mark on driver side, not big at all......I'll let it go for a cheap price.....since I dont need two
