I forgot who said that having a silver civic = lots of used parts. I've been searching for a silver rear bumper for 13 months now... and nuthing... So I don't think it really matters what colour you get wrt reusable parts.

Does anyone remember those '95~'97 VW Golfs that had each body panel painted a different colour from the factory?

Ask if your dealer can paint half the panels in black and half of them in silver. Problem solved!
