OT: Place to get Coax (for sat) cable in Markham
Anyone know a cheap place to buy RG6 Coax cable in the Markham area? Thanks.
(ie. cheaper than Home Depot/crappy tire)

If you go to an electronics surplus shop it should be cheap. Don't know if active surplus sells this stuff but you can give them a call to find out:
347 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario M5V 2A4
Tel: (416) 593-0909 Toll Free: 1 (800) 465-5487 Fax: (416) 593-0057
They are downtown at Queen near University

I usually buy it at Sayal or RTC electronics in 'sauga, Dixie/Matheson area but a buddy of mine is looking to get some in Markham.
I dont remember the prices but home depot/futureshop/radio shack is probably double.
I actually have a 1000ft box I bought for $60.

There's a place called Daiwa on Victoria Park, north of Gordon Baker and South of Steeles... on the west side of Victoria Park. There's a strip mall with Active Electronics (I think that's the name) and Daiwa something... they sell network cables... I never bought Coax from them before but they should have it. Look them up and give them a call.
Also Home Depot should have them too. Not sure if they are cheap.
