OT has been cut to only this thread, people from all around post here so i dont see why it has to be moved, its not like 1 thread will cause too much problems, so i say keep it, but its all upto BOO when he comes back

A lady walks into a Furniture Store. She browses around, then spots the perfect leather sofa and walks over to inspect it. As she bends to feel the fine leather upholstery, a loud fart escapes her. Very embarrassed, she looks around nervously to see if anyone has noticed her little accident and hopes a sales person doesn't pop up right now.
As she turns back, sure enough, there standing next to her is a salesman.
"Good day, Madame. How may we help you today?"
Very uncomfortably she asks, "Sir, what is the price of this lovely leather sofa?"
He answers, "Madame, I'm very sorry to say that if you farted just touching it, you are going to **** when you hear the price."

yes, i just got back from some hard core studying and im kinda suprised i didnt pass on the coffee table like i usually do from all the stress!!!
i was kinda wondering when u guys were gonna start another thread!..
hmm.... i thought this was resolved with a few days ago and im kinda suprised that you guys did go along with what i thought was a resolution to this...
according to what D or Derek, he told me that all GTA type threads are to be in the GTA forum so anything that relates to GTA goes in there anything thats not GTA and it relates to other cities other GTA go in the other... BUT here is the catch, seeing as how i dont want to take sides in this matter in order to keep everyone happy.
im leaving it up to u guys,
as for u guys that have been here from da start of this site and im pretty sure their still in da background.. chilling
this forum has always been a haven for the PW's. i dont think no matter how hard u try to change it wont happen. its like the fact that ur born a man or a woman. its fate just accept it and embrace that way. your cool with it and some one else is cool with u. it will always will be like this cuz that is what makes this forum the best out of all the forums in this site. (reason why there are some many ppl in this board, do u really think that a honda civic is that popular?) i know alot of ppl come to canada east even though they are not part of canada to either mingle with the rest of us or ask us questions about cars and im pretty sure they all get treated the same. i know there are those of you that are very interested in cars and how to mod the hell out of them. and i know i give those threads special attention to try to answer them to the best of my abilities but there are just some that even i dont have knowledge about them. thats where i expect you guys to try to answer them. but if u guys want to use the GTA forum for a OT forum then its fine with me. i dont mind.. it will just mean that the general canada east forum will be more silent than usual plus it can also mean that alot of ppl are post on canada east anyway and that means more work for me.. (im a lazy bum). if thats the case then that is fine also... this is YOUR forum. u guys decide what u want and ill respect ur decision. i can even do this in a democratic way.
i know there are also some of u that just come to this forum and i understand that and i respect that. i dont want this to turn into a flame war that will mean that alot of ppl will be leaving this forum.. which unfortunatly some ppl have left. its a shame to one effect cuz personally this is a forum and like the internet its a place to interact with others.
we're not bound by a set of protocols like the real world is..im not a cop. im not gonna take a bat and wack u across the face with it for doing something i think is wrong...
ok im my HONEST opinion if u really wanna know i think this forum is a place where ppl can just ask questions, mingle and so on with out being flamed and told wat not to do. if u want to get strictly about car parts/tech/suspension/ etc etc... then u can try the other forums that deal strictly with that stuff...and see how strict they are about it...even the off topic forum is getting more and more strict. i know WE dont follow the rules haha we seem to bend it a little
but i find that alot of ppl dont know about these things plus im supposed to move them there too. hahaha i think not....i leave it here so that ppl can learn about it and hopefully pass it on.
i know everyone here like to joke around but we can be serious too. also the reason why i moved the london threads was cuz of D's request for me to move em there and considering that are way more ppl in the GTA than there are from other region's their threads will never get loss so im only making it easier for them to mingle.

since i have joined this site i have usually been on either the general,oftopic, or rides talk forums, if i ever wanted to ask a question about something, i would ask it on the thread relating to that topic, like about a sound system i would go to ICE, about painting, i would go to tech stuff and so on. i started coming to caneast like a month ago, i saw that everyone knows each other and talk in almost an mirc chat style, friendly, and just plain having fun. so i joined in, and i found that it is alot of fun, everyone is nice to the other, we get to joke around and talk about nothing. in my opinion the regional forums have one purpose, to ask question about shop, products, events or meets in that area, or sell stuff to people who r in your area. if these forums were based on only that, they will be too slow, just like the eastern ontarion forum, it is so slow other then the london chat thread. so if there was no OT threads then these thread will be a waste, i really would like to hear Dereks opinion on this, are we causing to much harm by doing all this PWing? if so then there is a reason to cool it dows, if there isnt then i dont see a reason to.
