Question There are doubts about my Dyno numbers... Ask away!

For those who think my Dyno numbers are fishy please feel free to inlighten yourselfs on the following...

I am not here for you to believe me... Frankly i could care less. But it is possible... I went to the dyno (Clayton) and the Dyno read between 212 whp and 219 whp at 6300 rpms. I don't like giving away everything that is on my car (For safety purposes) but i'll give you the just of it... There are two key points that makes my set up different then most other turbocharged applications is I have a liquid to air intercooler and a Jackson racing water injection kit. For those whom disbelieve please read on...

-Liquid to air intercooler: we relocated my battery to the trunk to replace it by a 1 gallon Fuel cell. The fuel cell is to be filled with Water or Ice water on race day. Pumping the ice water through the intercooler is a Pony 12V water pump at 300 gallons per hour (From Princess Auto). So basically The water goes through the intercooler (Much like a Radiator) Thus frezzy the intake charge dramatically. Frezzing the incoming air gives you the ability to retain more oxygen in that air mass. More oxigen in the air creates stronger detonation thus more power...

-Jackson racing water injection kit: Running off the windshield washer fluid resevoir. The jackson racing water injection kit injects water into the engine at a misty rate during boost. The water is used for cooling the engine... but here's the good part. When H2O atom is devided you get 1 part hydrogen and 2 parts oxigen. OXIGEN GIVES YOU A STRONGER DETONATION... AGAIN MORE POWER. It almosts work in the same fashion as Nitrous oxide... Nitrogen is used to cool down the engine (Same as water) oxigen gives you a stronger detonation. So basically a water injection kit is a safer milder nitrous system...

Both of these kits combined will give me the ability to run about 4-5 more psi then other setups... we are also planning on re-installing the A/C and routing the lines around the fuel lines thus cooling the Fuel before it reaches the chambers doning this will further cool down the engine.

If you have any Questions please feel free to ask away... Thanks!

That's awesome.... correct me if I'm wrong but you ran 219hp to the wheels on 8psi right?
How much boost do you think you can run safely on a regular basis?

Oh and let me know if you're coming down to Sparta this Sunday. I just might meet ya there.

I don't open my hood that often anymore... I had to at the meet! I had no choice you probably would have jumped me if I didn't! The place where I got it dynoed does not do printouts yet... Lets have a dynoday! At Tag or something... Then you all can see for yourselfs...

That is a sophisticated setup. I love it! Get a new clutch for all that power (if you haven't already) and get some lightweight Volk TE37s with some slicks, and let her fly! 13s is very attainable with your setup. Here in London, our LAC founder with an Automatic 99 civic si with a turbo kit running 13 psi ran a 13.8. Automatic! http://www.londonautoclub.org/html/M...ofile_gyao.htm

thats understandable. then, i wouldnt mind going there just to see it happening, i really like turbo blow off valves going off. but i have no real dedication like u to turbo a D series hehe.. but its impressive though..

Well like I said before... I went with the best of the best so that in the future it is easier to upgrade... Somebody could have easily duplicate my numbers without spending half as much... It all depends what your future goal is... mine is to run 12S and around 18psi... Block sleeved, Low compression pistons, carillo connesting rods, Cam, Knife edged crank... 18psi is attainable but you gotta have the funds $$$...

OMFG... Have you ever taken a chemistry class before? Dividing an H2O atom? WTF, you have a nuclear reactor in your engine bay or something??? I could care less how much hp you make out of the system, but if you're going around telling people you're spraying water in your engine, and the H2O molecules divide and you get oxygen molecules out of it, you're a weirdo. Someone's been watching too much F&F.

And DO YOUR FRIGGEN MATH. H2O (with a subscript 2) is 2 parts Hydrogen, 1 part Oxygen. Even better, it's spelled oxYgen, not oxIgen...

No one else got that??? Or am I the idiot that thinks this is a real post about some guy with a supposedly turbo'd Civic???

???

Like I said, he spent the money to put some stuff in his engine, that's fine. My EL is auto, and friggen STOCK. He can race me all day and beat me by 10 car lengths. So what? The problem is unless he's got a nuclear reactor spliting atoms inside his engine bay, people are going to think he's an idiot when he tells everyone he's spliting H2O atoms in his engine...

There were earlier posts about his turbo and the numbers it generated, I didn't even bother reading it... But when I saw this post about how he does it, wow... I must say it got me interested.... The water molecules dividing really got my attention.... Just...... doesn't ANYONE around here read the posts fully? Man, I must be too attentive.... Gotta go watch my toenails grow now....

That's really true, you will need a decomposition to break down water molecules. There are 2 parts hydrogen and 1 parts oxygen to form what we call water. You can not just simply seperate these elements inside your engine, it needs to be charged, and simply an engine block does have have electricity.
