UWO STUDENTs????
lease: Just wondering if any1 here goes to western, cuz i'm thinking about transferring there nxt yr
what do u think of western?? cuz most ppl i've talked to from there like it and are doing well, whereas most from UT in 1st yr r hating it, with bad marks and no FUN!!
Good to know they will be another 7thgen member in London. Currently, theres about 7-8 of us. Theres also an import club with about 60+ paid members. We have a meet every Saturday night. An ITR showed up once, 350z, a Mercedes convertable, lots of Civics.
Check out the site London Automotive Club
Oh, no I didn't go to UWO, I went to Fanshawe College. Just as good

Western is an excellent school. BIG goes to western, my fiancee works there. Excellent teachers, lots of parties, the hottest blondes and brunettes you'll ever see!! Western was voted #3 on David Letterman's Top 10 party schools.
i know i heard, western is a BIG party school, but it's also a great school ..ppl know when to party and get down to work
whereas down here at U of T , ppl r just mad serious..all work ..no fun
that's why it's soo competitive and 1st yr avg is like 65, where at western it's like wayyy better
so i'm planning to go there nxt yr for healh sciences..any1 in that program?? or any other inputs??
-U of T ..great minds for a great future..haha..worst undergrad experience ever down here

Alumni here.... graduated in 2001....... BHSc.......
Hey FuriousVic, I was in the first batch of students to go through the program and I hated it...... I thought I was going to get a more broad base in Health Science but what I got was pretty much training to work in the offices of Health Care..... I should have stayed in Kin, but I figured that it was a new program and that it would get more interesting...... I couldn't be farther from the truth.... All my electives were science classes (bio, chem, genetics, pathology, etc....), but the core health science courses were a complete waste of time.... and by the time I figured it out I was already in my third year.
PM me if you want more of my "insight".......
As for UWO, I miss it!!!!! I go back for every homecoming and try and party up in London as much as I can. The parties were fun, especially since I lived with two cheerleaders
....... Oh the hot tub parties they had......

Alright I can give you some inputs......
Pros: The women are top notch, as recognized in Playboy and on Leno. Guaranteed you'll meet some of the best buddies ever, the people at Western are class yet casual (know what I mean?). Car clubs like the Western Wheels and the London Auto Club will keep you rolling thru classes. Lastly the campus itself is first class, it actually looks like a university should.
Cons: parking sux, but if you're in rez or live close to campus its all good. Classes are usually pretty big but the way the have it setup makes it very interactive.
Make sure that you pick classes carefully and the biggest tip I have is to look ahead to yrs 2 and 3 and see what options you'll have with the classes you'd be taking in year 1. They say that the door is still open till year 3, thats bullshit. Every class builds on the next so it is key to make sure the the classes you pick would be applicable for 3 different routes.
Goodluck dawg

Saugeen is a rez, as for 2nd year you can't get it unless you're a floor rep, which is a cool job, you get the pimped room at the end of the hall by yourself the whole year. As for zoo bucks, its a designated bar and basically you( the guys) buy 'zoobucks' and girls have to work for them.....you know what I mean, and the girl with the most at the end wins
shi.t .. i hope i can get into rez as a transfer 2nd yr student or else it's going to be rough just getting a place on my own
how much is rent like up at london???
sounds like alotta fun with zoobucks,,can';t wait
