attn: CF hood owners !

sup sup
i just tried to put the CF hood on but it doesnt line up when closing the hatch!
it looks like mis aligned and i tried to move the latch up higher
i think it goes up one notch higher.
any one u wizards have a solution to this?
i cant figure it out...

move the latch closer to the engine put some pressure and some power into it, if problems u can call me, PM and i will give u the #

A buddy of mine had the same problem, he had to cut the latch off and weld it closer. It was pretty complicated process but it worked. At first he was just gonna cut the latch off and jus put the hood pins on. But went with movin the latch

hahaha thats nothing man. i took my car out for a spin and 2 chicks tried to race me in a mazda protoge.... and they were like "whine DING" while listening to some music.. i was just laughing.. with my buddy... oh well i took em.. by 1 car length and waved bye to them and they followed us hahaha.. freaken jokes...
well i guess the hood is getting me some attention but its not ON properly.. ill try to post 1 pic of it. when i done.. GRRR!!! thank god i got no more assignments due !!

i will speak for myself when i say i got it from Gusto, and for a good price too, hoods from stores are about $800 or more, depending where, quality is great!!! if u want to wait JSP has a new hood line coming out with clear coated and moulded under body and they said about
$675 if not more, so its up to you, ask gus he is the man for all the stuff

i got it done finally ... gawd.. im never fAWKING buying another hood like this.. if i have to get one ill get a VIS or Fiberimages.. too much hassle. trying to fit it......
but other than that.. it LOOKS SIC,
hehe
thanks for the help but it wasnt the latch it was something else hehe
