Can't wait to see your turbo REDVIC. You gotta come down to Sparta again this year and have a couple of runs. First import event is May 25th i believe. Be nice to see a quick 7th gen for a change.

Hey guys... Ummm.... noone here is paving the way for turbo in a 7th Gen. A guy by the name of Cory username is 7thgenturbo has had his car runnin turbo since early december. He runs it at 8psi for the street but it has the capability of running up to 15 psi without too much trouble with the motor.
I dunno who is feedin you the line that our intakes blow at 10psi... they don't abtually. Only the intake manifold gasket does. You can upgrade the gastket to run much more.
The turbo on Cory's car is still using the returnless fuel setup and the stock fuel rail. He does have 2 extra injectors and the Split second fuel management system, as well I believe it has a mustang fuel pump in the tank. As for all the detonation problem with the turbo 7th gens at high RPM... Split second is developing a module for the fuel management system that actually retards the timing when the VTEC kicks so that you aren't pulling misfire codes at higher RPM... tus saving your motor a little more time before it all goes KABLOOIE!

I am the first Lx... First of all, thus non-vtec. How do you figure he can run 15psi... On STOCK internals... Our actual intake manifold blows apart because IT"S MADE OUT OF PLASTIC. I have a better chance at running higher PSI then cory because I have Water injection and a liquid to air intercooler... cory doesn't... plus you can only do so much with his split fire fuel management system. I spoken to cory he's a good guy don't get me wrong cory is a very nice guy but... he can't run nothing over 8psi...

P.S: His car was a lease... He took apart his because he has to return it to stock for the end of the lease. Also he is using some of the parts of his 2001 civic turbo kit to put on his EG civic drag car!
