What you pay is what you get. If these are $80 ones, of course they won't be anywhere near PIAA's... But if they're up in the $300 range it's probably good. Although there's no way of telling, really, haha, unless someone's already had those.

i'm a girl, and i dun really think gucci really makes WAY BETTER QUALITY bags.
as long as someone has used it before and it's good, then go with them. i'm no trying to diss piaa or anything, but i've had a few customers that bought them and the bulb burns out every three months. anyway, just my opinion. sometimes taiwanese stuf is not all that bad.....a lot of brand name stuff is all made in china or taiwan too, just got their BRAND label on them. trust me on that....i get lots of stuff from taiwan manufacturer who actually makes brand name stuff....and i just get the NON-LABELLED stuff they have left and sell/use them myself. Most larger manufacturers of any kind would've been commissioned by larger int'l corps for manufacturing their stuff, so they will be left with the right equipment and such after the contract. So they will have the technology and resources to make equally good stuff.
Although there still are bad no-name stuff in this world, so buyers be careful.
