are you sure it's your pager and not your shock sensor?

when my shock sensor goes off, doesnt it go like "doo dee doo dee" (lol) and when its paging, it sounds like a ringing?

If you guys are talking about the compustar, I have the same problem. Just unplug it or cut the wire. Mine eventually lost stickiness and is now just lying on the dash and doesnt page anymore but the blue led still flashes

hmm...only problem is, im not sure which wire to pull...i dont wanna **** it up

Hey Tim, ya we're talking about the compustars...
If the pager goes off it rings like a phone and you'll see a picture of a phone on your remote. If it's the shock sensor you'll see a hammer hitting the car.
Look at the brain of the remote and it's labeled... i'm pretty sure its a small blue plug.

I think you should have bought mine before I traded them in, lol.....with the rash and the tire replacements it would have been close to what I was asking.

seriously, $850 is a steal for those in 18s and you know mike can get tires for cheap....I vote yes! I loved them on my car, they are a great rim!

Don't do it. 2 new tires are gonna cost you atleast $240 (and then you'll probably be running mis-matched tires) then you have to pay to uninstall, install and balance the new tires onto the rims... another $50. Plus you got rid of your wheels because they had scratches on them but now you're gonna get another set of wheels with curb rash? How much tread does the other 2 remaining tires have left?
Honestly, nice rims and all, if anything you should have bought Braden's 19's in mint condition with like 90% rubber, but I wouldn't buy these 18's.

hey guys, sorry to barge in here and change the subject but how do i turn off my check engine light. it was on because i didnt close my gas cap completely and now it wont go off.

ugh...its easy, there is a way, but i forget how

Easiest way:

1. Turn off your car
2. Pop open your hood
3. Open the Fuse box (Black box above the battery)
4. Locate the ECU Fuse (check the back of the Fuse Box lid... it's a legend)
5. Unplug the ECU Fuse and wait 20 seconds
6. Plug ECU fuse back in
7. Put the Fuse box lid back on, close your hood
8. Turn on your car and let it idle for 30 seconds... the CEL should go off

just pull the ECU fuse under the hood. Keep it out for 20 seconds, then replace it.

Make sure your car is off when you do this.

Then plug it in and start it up.

another question can you turn a AEM CAI into a short intake by just cutting it and placing the filter on the new end?

Ya I can still do your headlights... just drop them off with me sometime with all the material needed.
Intake can probably be cut to make a short ram. Depends if the diameter of the piping where it's going to be cut is the same diameter as the filter.
