Denny, call me when you're done

Ya Chris I'm still doing the GB. Does a buddy of yours want one?
Christian... are the HIDs warrantied from the manufacturer or the retailer?

http://www.artechnology.ca
go there for info...they are regular $350..so that seems a bit too low for quality HID's..but who knows...they just seem a little sketch to me

yea...i'd never heard of lucent before either. but i dont see them selling all over ebay for like $200 a kit, so i figured thats a good sign
artechnology.ca ...thats the guy who i worked out the GB with. what makes it seem sketch? that its about $100 cheaper then other hid's ?
im waiting for a pm back from the dude to find out more warranty info

usually good hid's go for 500-550...thats the only reason i am leary..like the ones bruno got from Speedstar in Toronto cost like a little over $500 and that was a discounted group buy like price

well just because they're inexpensive doesn't make them crappy. If you want you can $500 for those HIDs (give me the extra $200) if that'll ease your mind
And again, just because they're expensive... doesn't make them any better. Mark up on HIDs are probably rediculous anyways. Maybe this guy isn't making that much money off them... and maybe the guy that sells the Xtreme kit makes a killing... who knows.
I'm gonna do more research on them before I actually say yes... but if the retailer offers a 1year in store warranty, I'll probably buy them.

the website seems a bit weird..but if the warranty pans out and he is easily available to contact then its worth a shot...but i am just saying..when it comes to anything like that ... you get what you pay for.
i disagree...you dont always get what you pay for in car parts...do you really think that honda oem fog lights are worth $700? lol
i know that the guy isnt making tons of money because he's just trying to get his feet wet with his business...get himself on the map so to speek. (this is what he said at least) I initially tried for $275 a kit, and he was like "out of the question...i have to make SOME money ya know".
still waitin on a response with some actual pics of a kit, and warranty info

i meant that on the low end of the spektrum..like if you pay $100 for deck..its probably gonna be crap..if you buy subs from xcess cargo its probably gonna be crap..if you buy an $800 laptop probably not gonna be the best...you buy an LX..its not gonna have the vtacccchhh attack module...get my drift?
but hopefully this will work out..cause $300 for legit HIDs are great...and hopefully you are right and he is just trying to start a business

That's different. With a laptop or a car... you get different options. The more you pay the more options you get. ie. power windws, door locks, etc... same with a laptop... bigger hard drive, faster processor, etc...
You're not really getting anything different with other HID kits then you do with this one. All it is is wires, bulbs, and a ballast. The only thing I worry about is the ballast... but if he's giving out 1 year warranty then that's a really good deal.
It does come with all the wiring harness and relays right?
